Duke of Edinburgh’s Operating Licence – Important Update

The operating licence for the Duke of Edinburgh’s Award (DofE) in Guernsey, has now transferred to the States of Guernsey Education Office.

Enrolments:
A paper enrolment form is currently available here Download paper form here and should be used until a new online payment system is launched. We will update this page as soon as the new system is live. Please email the form to dofe@gov.gg

Any young person wishing to join a Bronze, Silver, or Gold Open Group with the Youth Commission should complete this enrolment form and clearly state on the form that they are applying to join a Youth Commission Open Group.

eDofE Access:
The migration of eDofE accounts is being managed by the Duke of Edinburgh’s Award (UK). We are aware that some users are currently experiencing difficulties accessing eDofE. The UK DofE team has advised that access should be fully restored by Monday 12 January at the latest.

What is the Duke Of Edinburgh's Award?

If you are aged between Year 9 and 24 years old you could start working towards your Duke of Edinburgh’s award.

The award is the world’s leading youth achievement award. You can include what you already do or you can use it as an opportunity to try something new.

    Which Level Is Right For You?

    There are three levels, Bronze, Silver and Gold with each level demanding more commitment. You could complete your bronze award in just 6 months!

    Duke of Edinburgh with The Youth Commission

    The Youth Commission delivers Bronze, Silver, and Gold Duke of Edinburgh’s Award programmes, including Expeditions and a Gold Residential experience. Open to all DofE participants, who are unable to access DofE within Schools settings. 

    The DofE award provides a fantastic opportunity to make new friends, give something back to the community and complete a vital section of all awards.

    Expenses of travel will be kept to a minimum.

    Previous Expeditions and Residential's have taken place on Lihou, Sark, Alderney, and Guernsey.
